TrustAjo

Àjọ savings, tracked openly

Àjọ the way you already do it — with a record everyone can see.

Up to 15 people agree an amount, a payout day and an order. Each payout day, everyone contributes and one member takes the pot. TrustAjo keeps the list of who paid, who is next and what every fee is — so nobody has to trust a notebook or a WhatsApp screenshot.

One Tradition. Many Names. One Trusted Platform.

Across communities, people come together to save, support one another, and achieve their goals. Whether you call it Àjọ, Esusu, Akashi, Osusu, or Dashi, TrustAjo helps bring your trusted savings circle into a transparent digital experience.

Names and spellings differ between communities and languages, and circles are run in different ways. Whatever yours is called, the idea is the same: save together and take turns.

How it works

  1. 1

    Set the rules

The organiser picks the amount, how often, the payout day and the start date.

  2. 2

    Invite and pick numbers

Members join with a link, read every fee and rule, and choose a free number from 1 to 15.

  3. 3

    Contribute

A payment only counts once the payment provider confirms it. Screenshots don't count.

  4. 4

    Take turns

Each payout day the next number in line receives the pot. Nobody can jump the queue.

  5. 5

    See everything

Every member sees the same totals, payments and receipts. Mistakes are fixed with new entries, never erased.

🧮 Plan a group

Try out an amount and see the schedule, the pot and every fee. This is a calculator — nothing is saved online and no one is charged.

Questions people ask

Who holds the money?

Today, nobody — TrustAjo isn't taking money yet. Before it does, it needs a licensed Nigerian payment or escrow partner to hold group funds apart from TrustAjo's own money. We'll name that partner here once it's agreed.

What if someone stops paying?

They get reminders, then a ₦3,000 fine after 24 hours, and their early-payout option pauses until they settle. Every member can see the shortfall. The group's written rules decide what happens after that — TrustAjo won't hide a missing payment or invent money to cover it.

Can the organiser change the order or the numbers?

Not once the cycle has started. The order and payout day lock at the start. Any allowed change needs the members' agreement and is recorded where everyone can see it. Paid transactions can't be edited or deleted by anyone.

I sent a transfer — can I upload the screenshot?

A screenshot can help support look into a problem, but it won't mark you as paid. Only a confirmation from the payment provider does that. This protects everyone from fake alerts.

Can I ask for my payout before my turn?

You can't take someone else's turn. If your group allows early payout, the person whose turn it is can take it before the date for a 3% charge. Asking to jump the queue is refused and recorded.

How many groups can I be in?

Up to 5 active groups at once, and each group has at most 15 members, including the organiser. A group doesn't need all 15 to start.

Will money ever be taken from my account automatically?

Only if you switch on automatic payments yourself, for the exact amount and schedule you agree to. Fines and missed contributions are never auto-debited.
